The concept for Kustom Kut was developed after many discussions with filmmakers, producers, directors, and postproduction supervisors regarding the current state of the industry. The common theme among them was to lower costs on their production budgets without sacrificing quality. They were all looking to avoid paying for the “extras” or “frills” that they considered a non-essential part of the film making process, but still wanted a unique professional product.

Filmmakers are always looking for ways to reduce the costs on their productions and still receive a professional product. We decided to take a look at the entire process and strip it down to the essentials, while still maintaining a top quality product to serve the need of this changing market. The end result was Kustom Kut Productions.
